Kent Lilly was born and raised in Lake Wales, Florida. He graduated from
University of Florida with a degree in Accounting and then from law school
at Florida State University. He then returned to Polk County where he
has practiced law since 1977 in the area of Personal Injury/Wrongful Death
law. Mr. Lilly is an AV Rated lawyer, the highest rating established by
Neal L. O’Toole was born in New Rochelle, New York, where he was
raised until 1978 when he enrolled at Loyola University in New Orleans,
Louisiana. In 1982, he graduated cum laude from Loyola University with
a degree in both Political Science and Psychology. He immediately enrolled
at the Tulane School of Law, and in 1985 Mr. O’Toole obtained his
Steven C. Brown is a native of Lakeland, Florida. Born and raised in the
city, he attended Stetson University and graduated as an honors student
with a degree in finance. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate degree
from Stetson University College of Law three years later, graduating cum
laude. He began his legal career in his hometown of Lakeland, where he
worked for two years before moving to Sebring, Florida where he has lived
and practiced since then.
J. Ron Smith was born and raised in Wauchula, Florida.
He served in the United States Marine Corps before graduating from the
University of Florida in 1962. He attained his Juris Doctorate degree
from Stetson University College of Law in 1967. Thereafter, he clerked
at the Second District Court of Appeals, and served Hardee County as its
Ivelisse De la Fe was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. She graduated summa
cum laude from Florida Southern College with a Bachelor in Music. Having
developed an intense desire to learn as much as she could about her new
country and its laws, Mrs. De la Fe attended Stetson College of Law. While
attending law school, Mrs. De la Fe served as a judicial intern for the
Honorable Judge Thomas McGrady from Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit
where she was fortunate to gain insight to the practice of law from a
judicial perspective. Her duties in the capacity included conducting extensive
research on various legal issues as well as preparing legal memoranda
and orders. While attending Stetson, Mrs. De la Fe was the recipient of
distinguished honors, including the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award,
the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and the Leadership Development
