Meet Angela Pulido

Angela Pulido, born and raised on Florida’s Space Coast, received her B.A. degree in journalism in 1991 from Loyola University in New Orleans and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1994.

Following law school, Ms. Pulido moved to Polk County where she has exclusively practiced civil trial law with a focus on serious injury and wrongful death claims.  Ms. Pulido has successfully argued before the Florida Supreme Court and the Second District Court of Appeals.  She is also admitted to practice before the United States Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Supreme Court.

In 1998, Ms. Pulido was appointed by Gov. Lawton Chiles to serve as a member of the Tenth Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission for a four-year term, during which time she served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Commission.  In addition to having served on the JNC, her memberships in legal organizations include:

  • The Florida Justice Association
  • American Association for Justice
  • Polk County Trial Lawyers Association
  • Wilson American Inns of Court
  • Florida Association of Women Lawyers
  • 10th Circuit Guardian Ad Litem (volunteer)
  • Hispanic National Bar Association
  • 10th Circuit Hispanic  Bar Association, Secretary

A first generation Cuban-American, Ms. Pulido is fluent in Spanish and is the only Spanish-speaking member of the firm.  She is an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales, where she has taught Sunday school, served on the Parish Council and is a Eucharistic minister.   A firm believer in giving back to the community and paying it forward,  Ms. Pulido’s contributions to the community include serving as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and on the board of directors  of several charitable organizations, including:

  • The Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce
  • Polk Vision
  • The Lake Wales Care Center
  • The Lake Wales Arts Council
  • Our Childrens’ Academy
  • Leadership Lake Wales Class XIV

She and her husband, Keith Wadsworth, and their children, Isabel and Harris, reside in Lake Wales, Florida.
