Meet Steven C. Brown

Steven C. Brown was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. He graduated, with honors, from Stetson University in 1981 with a degree in finance and then attained his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1984. Following his graduation, he initially practiced in Lakeland for two years before moving to Sebring, Florida, where he has lived and practiced since 1986.

Mr. Brown is an AV Rated lawyer, the highest rating established by Martindale Hubell, the agency which provides attorneys’ ratings throughout the United States. He is board certified by The Florida Bar as a Civil Trial Lawyer. This distinction is held by less than two percent (2%) of lawyers within the state of Florida.

Mr. Brown lives in Sebring with his wife, Mary, and their two sons, Christopher and Robert. Mr. Brown is a longtime member of Sebring Firemen, Inc. and has served on the Board of Directors of the Highlands County Fair Association for the past 20 years.
